That they probably think, I have it figured out

Everyone I know seems to assume I found solace about it,
But the truth of the matter is I haven't and I wonder if I ever could

That unwanted reminder that we all gotta leave.
Now we need a distraction, so we look at our phones.
Now we don't feel so anxious; we don't feel so alone.

That she's in the past, and I'm the present tense
